"bizonkers"

If you know me at all, you know I make up words and "bizonkers" is one I have been using for about a year, if not longer.

Well, I just saw it used in Daily Candy.

If you have to listen to your BFF go on one more time about her ginormous engagement ring or compliment your cousin on the diamond bracelet she inherited from grandma, you’ll go bizonkers.

I should totally be getting credit for that.

Me Berfday

Yup. Today's my birthday. Happy birthday to me!

Bit of a depressing one though. The weather, no hubby, touch of the tummy flu (the good part about that is that I get to stay home!). It's actually the first time in my life I wish birthday's weren't made out to be such a big deal.

Yeah, this day actually stinks!

A good morning

I know it's a good morning when I get a long, solid nights sleep. You see, if there is one thing that I am truly not good at -- it's sleeping. Ask my hubby. I'm one of those "light sleepers" and will wake up to the sound of a feather falling.

Last night though.. ahhhh... I was immobile, which makes this morning a good, no GREAT morning. And to top it off, I just made one of my favourite meals: a vegetable and egg white omlette, topped with salsa. How is it that salsa makes ones eggs taste incredibly amazing. *drooool*

Now I'm going to "Shake my body to the freak show" before preparing for my afternoon matinee*

*Today's matinee is a 2 for 1 special -- 2 tickets for the price of one!*

Best Dance Scenes in a Movie

Just returned from seeing "Blades of Glory" and it got me thinking of my favourite movie dance scenes. So far...

If you have any, please share.

Oggi...

I'm running off of all of the sugar I've consumed over the last 2 days. I'd go running but being that it's the Bunny's day for hiding eggs I figured I'd let all of the tots do the running for me and I'll pick up with my exercising tomorrow.

Last night's performance went MUCH smoother. Im-a ver-ver happy. Even more so knowing that my family (coming down from NY) enjoyed the show a lot. Traveling to see their "little girl" perform in community theatre. That's dedication. I also happen to know that the show went well when when Casey exclaimed "OMG. That was a hundred times better than opening night!" Yay us!

I guess I promised my reader (me?) a "catch up" post. Hmmm.. That would mean having to go back before my "..performance sucked.." post and figure out what I've been doing in the past month. *ding-ding-ding* Wait. I remember now.. I've been in rehearsals. With a sprinkle of rehearsal and a dallop of tech work. Followed by a crazy week of dress rehearsals.

Not that I minded one bit because I love performing. I'm actually a bit bummed I missed 2 recent auditions due to rehearsals and exhaustion. Buggah.

One other good thing has happened -- I started a new job. Great company, nice working environment and best of all -- a fantabulous commute! The shorter commute has fed my desire to purchase a vespa. I can cruise down the expressway, mouthing "Ciao" as I wink to my fellow motorists. Happy birthday to me!!
