I Like the Cookies

A phone conversation that Casey had with a 4 year old who just LO-UH-UUUUVES the cookies I bake.

The phone just rang (about 10 minutes after you left for rehearsal). This was the conversation:

I pick up - "Hello?"
Tiny voice - "hello."

*pregnant pause*
me - "yes? hello?"
tiny voice - "I like the cookies"

It takes a half second now for the penny to drop in my mind before I finally respond,

"ooooh, well Christine isn't here right now but I'll be sure to tell her"
"OK"

*pregnant pause*

me-"Was that all you wanted to say alexis*?"
Alexis - "yep"
"well OK then, bye bye"
"bye"

Needless to say that totally and completely made my night.
